Funerals

I conduct non-religious funeral ceremonies including those in crematoriums and/or cemeteries, memorial ceremonies, and interments of ashes.

I am also available to discuss advance funeral wishes.

A Celebration of Life

I work with families to learn about their loved one in order to create a personal and dignified tribute to them.  I am there to help and support families through this difficult time.

For funeral ceremonies conducted in crematoriums and/or cemeteries, I work closely with your chosen funeral director.

I can also conduct memorial ceremonies and/or interments of ashes, whether arranged via a funeral director or direct.

Advance Funeral Wishes

You might want to make plans for your own funeral when the time comes, to reduce some of the emotional distress from your loved ones. I can help by discussing and documenting your wishes in advance, regardless of your health or what stage of life you are at.

As well as guidance around planning your own funeral, Age UK also offers a free guide which provides practical and emotional guidance that can help you when preparing to make decisions about the end of your life. It includes:

  • how to start conversations with family and friends

  • making a will

  • writing an advance statement of wishes

  • definitions of key terms that come up often

  • useful organisations that you can contact for further support and guidance in thinking through your options
