A Celebration of Life
I work with families to learn about their loved one in order to create a personal and dignified tribute to them. I am there to help and support families through this difficult time.

For funeral ceremonies conducted in crematoriums and/or cemeteries, I work closely with your chosen funeral director.

I can also conduct memorial ceremonies and/or interments of ashes, whether arranged via a funeral director or direct.

Advance Funeral Wishes

You might want to make plans for your own funeral when the time comes, to take the burden off your loved ones. I can help by discussing and documenting your wishes in advance, regardless of your health or what stage of life you are at.

Fee

£250* for 2026/27
*No charge for funerals for under 18s or for advance funeral wishes

My fee is inclusive of travel up to 50 miles from home (25 miles each way). Travel beyond this is charged at 50p per mile.
Any additional fees and expenses, for example where there’s a requirement for extended periods away from home and/or which may necessitate public transport and/or overnight accommodation, can be discussed.
Note that Humanist Ceremonies Scotland is not a membership organisation and there is therefore no additional joining fee.
